Financial Support For Promising Young Researchers
Free conference registration is available for up to 30 promising young researchers from Least Developed Countries (see website tab for the UN list of LDCs). In order to qualify for this financial support, young researchers should meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Under 35 years of age
- Actively engaged in research of grain legume crops for at least 3 years at the national or international level.

Promising Young Researchers Support Award
The following information is required:
- Brief Curriculum Vitae
- Date of Birth – photocopy or scanned copy of passport
- Title of Abstract
- Evidence of additional support for conference attendance – recommendation and confirmation by supervisor.
This information should be sent to barbara.hoggard@usask.ca who will forward it to the Awards Committee for consideration.
Successful applicants will be notified of their award in January 2010. |
